Onewind Underquilt Instruction and Q&A

Hammock Underquilt and Blanket Combo

Lightweight, Soft, and Smooth Shell Lining Fabric:

  • Both sides of the underquilt (shell and lining) are made of 20 Denier Ultra Lightweight Nylon Taffeta Fabric.
  • Fabric Weight: 1.12OZ/Y2 (38g/m2) Soft, Smooth, and Lightweight.
  • The fabric is down-proof cired so it has windproof and waterproof against small rain (same fabric we always used on down jackets).

Filling: Bio-Based Fiber Made with DuPont™ Sorona® Synthetic Insulation

  • Sustans® is a natural permanent 3D spiral fiber for heat preservation and has excellent loft and recovery from compacting.
  • High warmth, high elasticity, comfortable hand feeling, and more consistent loft quilt that had a good feel and is durable, with good flexibility of use.
Dupont Sorona

Multi-Usage: Warm Style and Cool Style

  • The two ends of the quilt are completely attached to the hammock so you can tighten each end of the cord to keep you warm; when fully released, the two ends can be hung down for better ventilation and is suitable for warmer days.
  • Integrated shock cord lines allow for vent adjustment and keep the ends of the underquilt gathered.
  • Different color carabiners are used to distinguish the head and foot end.
Hammock Underquilt and Blanket

2 in 1 Combo Design for 4 Season

  • You can also attach the Onewind Camping Blanket to the Underquilt, making this a truly modular 4-season underquilt system. Stacking the underquilt and blanket like this can get the temperature range down to 10°F.
  • Simply fasten the camping blanket inside the underquilt down the long edges, and tuck it inside your underquilt, effectively doubling the amount of insulation.

Underquilt Ridgeline Supports

  • Hang underquilt to hammock ridgeline. The four core line adjusters are used to balance the hammock with the underquilt and let you take a better rest.

Double Side Bag: Easy Setup and Keep Clean

  • Engineered to make storage and set up a breeze. Double side compression bag keeps the underquilt clean, contained, and off the ground. Connect one side and release the hammock underquilt from the compression bag as you go.

Adjustment Cords & Easy to Adjust

  • There are cinch cords completely around the underquilt. You can adjust the underquilt position, and shape easily to suit your comfort and preference.

Easy Set-Up

  1. Clip carabiner on one end. Take the stuff sack and go to the other end and clip it. No need to pull the entire underquilt out to install, helping to keep it cleaner and less prone to damage.
  2. Every time you put away your underquilt, the two carabiners can stay outside the bag. When you go to hang it again, there is no need to rummage for hardware.
  3. After hanging the underquilt, you don't have to remove the bag. Just let it hang directly on the underquilt suspension, so when it is time to pack up, you don't have to look for the stuff sack.

Purchased the combo on Onewind Outdoors after researching multiple companies. Looked at temperature rating above all and found onewind met all my marks. Being new to hammock camping didn??t know what to expect. Boy was I blown away! I actually got over heated and had to pull off layers. The morning temp was around 23 degrees Fahrenheit and I was very toasty warm. Ease of installation of the product but other then meeting my expectations their customer service is what really blows me away!!! My partners underquilt had one of the snap come off which can happen no biggie but what onewind did to make sure I was a happy and satisfied customer to me was above and beyond. With out fail they responded really quickly and had compassion and understanding. Sent a pic of the snap that broke and with out skipping a beat they sent out a replacement. After asking where I needed to send the broken one back they said?? we understand shipping products back can be a hassle so we don??t want you to experience that hassle. WHO DOES THAT??? Exceptional customer service and an exceptional product.

I love to hammock camp and have been looking for a winter hammock setup. Spoke to several others who have underquilts and this one came up from several others. It is not the lightest set up at all, but depending on you camping style its great. Had it set up in the double layer configuration, insulated hammock pad and a top quilt in 35 degree weather, along with lightweight base layer. I woke up sweating. It is not a backpacking UQ, but if you car camp or trailer camp with Scouts, its a great value quilt.

Love the product. Would love to see a close up detailed video of how the various adjustments work bit confusing to someone new to hammocks.

I have the UQ and blanket combo that use with the oneeind 12 foot hammocks. Last weekend I used this setup together with their TQ and a poncho liner on top. It got down to 17F. This setup kept me comfortably warm. Of course I had long underwear on and hooded sweatshirt. Only downside is that they are bulkier and heavier than down options, but way less money. I have down options for backpacking, but I use the onewind quilts when car or moto camping. I'm a fan!

We had a bit of an issue with shipping but OneWind stepped up and took care of me and made it right!! As for the under quilts. I love them. My 9 year old and I slept in them as a test in the yard and they works awesome! It got down down to about 36 degrees F. We were toasty warm! Easy to set up and lots of little extras like the tabs to connect to the hammock and the cords to connect to the ridge line. Great product and great customer service!! I am a long term customer for now on! Planing to order more stuff soon!! Thanks for caring about your customers!
