I wanted a bug net for my self-sewn hammock. I think with this bottom-entry bug net I found what I search. Easy to install, you can even slide it over a hammock with UQ installed. Easy to get in and out with the bottom entry. All what I need!

I can highly recommend this bug net. The system is unmatched in my opinion. The bottom entry is really nice. I wonder that other companies won't sell this.

Accidentally slipped it on inside out, which turned out to be a good thing, because once I climbed in, I noticed for the first time that there were loops for tie-outs that would let you suspend the bugnet from above to make it seem roomier. However, with my bugnet hanging from the hammock ridgeline, I had plenty of room and never felt claustrophobic. You can, if you want to stretch, extend your arms fully and push out the bugnet on each side at shoulder level. Probably couldn't do this with a zipper version. This time of year, we have mostly tiny flying gnats that key on the CO2 you exhale; the bugnet kept them out 100%. The net is black, which is a good color for viewing the stary sky at night. After one or two amusing practice rounds, I found getting in and out can be fast, even in total darkness, even with a leg cramp. The bugnet has very little bulk, so it can be left in place while I put a sleeve over my hammock+underquilt.

I set up my OneWind hammock right next to a skeetery swamp in the Allegheny National Forest and slept soundly thanks to the OneWind bugnet. That says it all!
