Easy To Use

To get started using your hammock, do the following steps:

  1. Prepare the ridgeline with the adjustable UHMWPE whoopie sling ridgeline.
  2. Adjust the length of your ridgeline to control the sag of the outdoor hammock.
  3. Maintain the breaking strength at around 1,500 lbs.

    Together with Structural Ridgeline to use Kids Camping Hammock, I was able to sleep safely with a 30 kg child.
    In order to hang the kids hammock, you have to apply a lot of tension to keep it from sagging, but then it is much harder to loosen the whoopee sling, so it is better to use buckle-type hammock straps. In the case of the dizzy chain type straps, they were too tight and the carabiner would not come off.

    After I purchased Onewind’s double layered eleven foot hammock with an integral ridge-line, I came to see the ridge-line’s value. I ordered one for another hammock and it worked beautifully. Now I have ordered three more to retrofit my existing hammocks. As well as adjusting the sag of the hammock, the ridge-line can support a gear pouch (I have also bought three of them) and a lantern.
    The quality of the line is excellent—I feel comfortable with its high strength, and the price is very reasonable. The different size options are helpful. In future, I can’t see purchasing a hammock that doesn’t have a ridge-line without retrofitting one in.

    Very easy to put up a ridgeline for a hammock.
    It's a whoopie ring so you can easily adjust the tension.
    The compatibility with the hammock sock was also outstanding.
